Memories about Nola Belle

If you have a story or picture you would like to share about Nola Belle, please send it to us via our "contact" page or directly to BeckyHallNV@gmail.com.

Nola was always a great role model and she was especially a great friend she would always be kind to me and other kids and every day I would always learn some things from her. She was funny and happy especially when she would always say “Yaaas!” with all the sass. I will always remember her and she will be my friend. -Bailee

Nola had the most infectious personality! She always lived life to the fullest and stole the show without ever trying to. All of our friends and family kept asking me who that wonderful little girl in the Pantsuit was! Nola also loved to take part in Becca’s phone conversations with me and always had something funny to say. One of her famous sayings was, “Let’s go to Louis Vuitton’s”. Always remembered and never forgotten! -Suzy

Nola Belle was for sure a great big energy in a little body. I valued and adored her spunky live wire dynamic personality!!! These words came to me about a week or so after she was taken. What Nola Belle taught me. You deserve to be here just the way you are! The sun never asks permission to shine. Neither did Nola Belle ask permission to be her. She simply shined “Nola” wherever she was. Pure gratitude for get to know her in this lifetime. -Teresa

Hi  I’m Mia a friend of Nola I just wanted to share a memory with you and a story. I was also in choir with her and when we went to the high school I remembered that she was really nervous and excited and we would like run every were and it would just be so funny and then when it was the night we would sing and listen to the middle schoolers and the high schoolers it would be a blast. Another story I have is when we went to the Reno Aces and sang it was really interesting we would be like we’re going to be famous and things like that and when we were just about to go in a really nice car pulled in and she was like is that for me and we would laugh and we would give each other piggy back rides and it was just a blast with her. When I found out what happened I was in tears I was crying and then I remembered that we had so many good memories together and just I need to cherish them and remember them and just say hey she should like this and like man I wish she was here but  she is here in all of are hearts. God bless your family and I’m sorry for your loss.she was a amazing friend, daughter.

I am Kris Bonde, Nola's grandmother on Josh's side. AKA, Hutsi. I remember the last time I was with Nola. It was on Mother's Day this past year. Matt and I were visiting Josh, Becky, Keira, and Nola in Carson City. Keira, Nola Matt, and I were telling jokes and laughing around the dining table. Later, Nola and Keira were in their rooms working on Mother's Day cards. They both gave me a card and some candy (I love candy). Nola knew about my love of a good elephant joke. She took the time to find a new one I never heard and wrote it my card. I really appreciated the time she took to find something she knew I would enjoy. She brought light and laughter into the world. I miss her very much and I always will. I Love you Nola Belle. RIP Nola's joke for me: What do you call an elephant on a skating rink? An Ice Breaker! Ha Ha Love it!

As Nola’s step sister and friend I have a LOT of memory’s of and with Nola, some sad, some mad, and most happy! One of the funniest memories of her is when Becky took me to baking class and Nola came along too, but she twerked in front of a car because that was what was in her mind at the time! Another memory of her is her cheerleading, she finally found the right sport for her and she LOVED IT!!!!! For some of my basketball games she cheered me on even though I said to cheer the team on. And when Dad got us scratch tickets I won 20$ and we basically planned out our whole life with just that lol. But she will always be in our hearts and she will be known as the best cheerleader ever and AGT singer if you know what I mean but if you don’t then that is a story for another time. We all love her and miss her, and not to be rude but I will never say goodbye forever to her because she is family and for those of you lilo and stitch fans like nola say, Ohana means family and family means you never get left behind. -Juniper

My favorite memory with her was I taught her the pancake dance and she loved it and I loved it two and I was a good friend of here’s and I miss her I have had so many times we’re I cried and cried I will forever miss her and remember her I hope she rests in peace. -Evalon
